After more than a year of distance from expos around the nation, members of our SIGNET leadership team attended the 2021 Central Plains Dairy Expo, hosted in Sioux Falls, SD the last weekend in March.
“This was our first year attending this expo, and after such a long break from being among other vendors, business owners, and producers, it was certainly a treat for all of us to visit once again,” said Bryan Webber, Marketing Director for SIGNET.
Nearly 300 exhibitors filled the entire arena spaces at the Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
“This year’s Expo provided attendees with a safe way to interact, in person, with dairy industry representatives and others in the industry,” said Kristopher Bousquet, CPDA president. “We worked diligently with the Denny Sanford Premier Center staff to ensure a safe environment while offering ample opportunities for attendees to get the most out of the event.” In addition to using leading-edge environmental hygiene protocols, through ASM Global’s VenueShield, educational session rooms throughout the Expo had social distancing to allow safe interaction among attendees and presenters.
“This wasn’t maybe the most typical setup for agricultural businesses to network, but considering covid restrictions, I thought the event was very successful for everyone,” said Michael Zuhlke, Executive Vice President at SIGNET.
We were pleased to be in the performance arena area at the event center, where we hosted an interactive booth displaying aerial footage of various sites that across the United States and even raffled off a custom SIGNET YETI cooler.
This summer, SIGNET will also we attending the World Pork Expo in Des Moines, IA as well as the World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI.
